Grace Morris (she/her) joined Legal Council’s CMLPC projects as a National Health Corps (NHC) Member in September 2023. Before starting this role, she worked in global communications assisting with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion campaigns. Grace graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2022 with a B.A. in Communication Studies, as well as a minor in Public Health and Health Care Equity. The topic of health equity is one she is passionate about and finds to be immensely important, especially within a community aspect. Grace has lived in the Chicagoland area all her life and finds nothing more rewarding than giving back to a community she loves. She hopes to eventually pursue a Masters of Public Health degree to fulfill the passion she has towards dismantling barriers to healthcare and increasing opportunities for everyone to live the healthiest life possible.
