Chicago Organization to Honor Local Leaders in Advancing Health Care, Education Rights

WHAT: Legal Council for Health Justice will host its annual travel-themed Summer Soirée fundraiser in Lakeview to support the agency’s free legal services provided to Illinoisans living with serious medical conditions. Rep. Fred Crespo (D-44), Jenner & Block LLP’s D. Matthew Feldhaus and Sinai Health System will receive awards for achievements in promoting access to health care, public benefits, and education services for Illinoisans and their families. Approximately 300 professionals in law, medicine, business and government will be in attendance.

The travel theme for this year’s event is Grecian Holiday. 100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the thousands of Illinoisans with disabilities Legal Council will serve this year.
