Legal Council for Health Justice Blasts from the Past with Third-Annual May (Disco) Ball on May 6
Legal Council for Health Justice will host its third-annual May Ball at the historic, HGTV-featured home of Dr. Nabeela Rasheed and Fawzia Mirza in Chicago’s West Loop on Saturday, May 6. Philip Tortorich, partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, is the honorary chair. The ball, this year named May (Disco) Ball, is black tie optional. All proceeds from the ball directly support the Legal Council’s programs providing free, immediate legal help to low-income individuals with HIV, people at risk of homelessness, and children with disabilities.

Mike Sullivan, President of the Board of Directors commented, “As the Legal Council continues to grow, we are proud to never stop serving our vulnerable clients with dignity and care, regardless of today’s challenging climate. As our established programs mature and new programs develop, we are proud to share our successes and upcoming goals and strategies. As always, I am grateful to Nabeela and Fawzia for once again hosting us in their beautiful home and to Phil Tortorich for again chairing the event.” May Ball tickets start at $100 and are available at https://mayball2017.eventbrite.com or by calling 312-605-1957.

This year’s May Ball sponsors are: ChicagoPride.com, Clark Hill PLC, DecisionQuest, Family Health Network, Inc., Foley & Lardner LLP, Goldman Ismail Tomaselli Brennan & Baum LLP, GRAB Magazine, Illinois Health & Hospital Association, Jenner & Block LLP, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Marshall Gerstein & Borun LLP, Mayer Brown LLP, MB Financial Bank, McDermott Will & Emery LLP, Reed Smith LLP, Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP, Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Sidetrack, Sidley Austin LLP, Sinai Health System, Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc., Voxbox, Windy City Media Group, Winston & Strawn LLP, Wintersteen & Associates LLC, and Xact Data Discovery.
