Theo began at Legal Council in June 2023 as a legal advocate with CMLPC's project with Lurie Children’s Hospital. Before joining Legal Council, Theo worked as a mental health counselor at an elementary school in Oakland, California, supporting students with disabilities and mental health diagnoses. He also received a master’s degree in social work from the University of Chicago, where he interned at the Les Turner ALS Foundation and Access Living and volunteered with Chicago Street Medicine. Theo is committed to advancing disability justice and health equity in his work.
