Taylor Belew, Senior Staff Attorney
Taylor is the leading staff attorney with Legal Council's medical-legal partnership with ACCESS Community Health Network, providing free legal services onsite at ACCESS' Ashland clinic. Taylor earned her bachelor's degree with honors from George Washington University and earned her J.D. from University of California Hastings College of the Law. She has spent the past four years working in the areas of housing and immigration law at legal services organizations in San Francisco. Before coming to Legal Council, she acted as a Housing Law and Immigration Staff Attorney with the Homeless Advocacy Project of the Justice and Diversity Center, representing and advocating for those living with disabilities. Taylor was also an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law and supervised a legal referral clinic at one of San Francisco’s homeless shelters. Taylor went to law school with the goal of representing under-served communities, and working to address social and economic barriers through the legal process. She is very excited to be a part of Legal Council and continue this work.
