Stutee Acharya joined Legal Council in September 2022 as a National Health Corps member to expand the HIV/AIDS program’s capacity to remove health-harming legal barriers for patients at the program’s medical-legal partnerships. She graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA with a B.S. in Neuroscience, minor in Health and Medical Sciences, and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. During her undergraduate years, Stutee was a volunteer medical assistant at Urban Clinic of Atlanta and engaged in cellular immunotherapy research at Moffitt Cancer Center. She most recently worked as an emergency department scribe at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Stutee is passionate about reducing health disparities to achieve equity in health care.
