Rebecca Cabezas

Rebecca is a legal advocate providing services to the Social Work Department at a local children's hospital. She is particularly passionate about immigration issues and rights. Fluent in Spanish and with experience interacting with immigrant children and their families, Rebecca’s interests and previous experience make her a crucial part of the children and families partnerships team. Previously, she worked at the National Immigrant Justice Center, Student World Assembly, and UNICEF. Rebecca has focused her career on human rights and advocacy. She went to the University of Illinois for her B.A. is Political Science and received her M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University.
