Milo joined Legal Council in September 2022 as an Equal Justice Works Fellow in the HIV/AIDS program, where he focuses on healthcare access and economic security for transgender clients. Prior to law school, Milo worked for four years at Howard Brown Health as a Ryan White Medical Case Manager and Surgery Navigator. While there, he worked with clients living with HIV across a range of treatment access and public benefits issues, and helped to develop the Surgery Navigation Program, where he assisted transgender clients in accessing transition related medical care and obtaining name and gender marker changes on vital records. Milo graduated from Northeastern University School of Law, where he was a Health Law Scholar. While in law school, he participated in the Poverty Law & Practice Clinic and interned with Legal Aid Chicago, Justice in Aging, and Legal Council. He earned his B.A. from Oberlin College.
