Julia joined Legal Council in 2022 as an Avodah Fellow on the Children and Families team. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Oberlin College in 2022 with a B.A. in Religion and a concentration in Education Studies. Her past work experiences include serving as a second grade assistant teacher, working as a peer writing tutor at Oberlin, and interning at a New York City child psychology organization to support children with severe anxiety, behavioral disorders, and educational challenges. Julia is passionate about working directly with clients to expand access to quality education and healthcare services in Chicago.
