Enrique Mendoza, Legal Advocate


After spending one year as an AmeriCorps VISTA fellow working with our Marketing & Development team, Enrique joined our program staff working with individuals and families impacted by HIV and AIDS. Born and raised in Chicago, Enrique attended DePaul University where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. His future plans include going to law school, working in the non-profit sector, and becoming involved in Chicago’s political arena. Enrique's prior experience includes a stint as a legal intern with Mil Mujeres Legal Services where he provided legal assistance to immigrant women, a summer intern for the AFL-CIO where he helped to organize a home care worker campaign, and working as a congressional aide for Congressman Luis Gutierrez.
