Belle joined Legal Council in October 2021 and is serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA to support the medical-legal partnerships within the HIV/AIDS program. Belle graduated from the University of Michigan in 2021 with a B.A. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and a minor in Medical Anthropology. She is passionate about public health, expanding access to health care, and working closely with and within communities in order to better address their unique needs. During her undergraduate education, Belle was a volunteer Research Intern at the Michigan Medicine Addiction Center and most recently worked as a Research Assistant at the Michigan Medicine Department of Psychiatry where she assisted in developing treatments for substance misuse among underserved populations.
