Amy R. Martin, Senior Staff Attorney

Amy R. Martin is a senior staff attorney with our HIV/AIDS program. Prior to joining Legal Council, Amy was a clinical teaching fellow with the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law Bluhm Legal Clinic, Children and Family Justice Center, where she co-taught the Immigration Clinic and represented youth and parents seeking asylum and related forms of immigration relief. After graduating from law school, Amy spent over five years as a staff attorney with Legal Aid Chicago (formerly LAF) and represented clients in the areas of immigration, employment, housing, and public benefits. Amy received her J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law where she specialized in public interest law through the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. She received her B.A. in History and Latin American Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Amy is a member of both the Illinois and California Bar.
