Alison (Ali) Siczek joined Legal Council as a staff attorney for the Children’s Program in April 2023. Prior to joining Legal Council, Ali had experience in other public service and social justice advocacy. She worked as a Senior Staff Attorney and Equal Justice Works Fellow at Beyond Legal Aid in Chicago where she coordinated legal clinic partnerships and provided representation to clients in immigration removal defense matters. Ali also worked as Law Student Volunteer & Detention Program Intern at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network and as a PILI Jerome Gilson Honorary Intern at Chicago Legal Clinic. She earned her undergraduate degree from Marquette University and her JD from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, where she was awarded the Chancellor's Scholarship for her commitment to public service.
