• Legacy Project: One of the critical ways that you can express your personal commitment to the mission and work of Legal Council for Health Justice is by giving financial support that continues beyond your lifetime. We ask you to become a member of Legal Council for Health Justice’s Legacy Project and keep Legal Council strong in one of the following ways:
  • Planned Giving: Name Legal Council for Health Justice in your will, codicil or trust by asking your attorney or advisor to include such words as: “I give $_____ or ______% of my estate or trust (or specific assets) to Legal Council for Health Justice (Tax ID No. 36-3563802), with its principal office at 17 N. State, Suite 900, Chicago, IL 60602, to be used for its general purposes.
  • Gifts of Life Insurance and Pension Plans: Name Legal Council for Health Justice as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy (whether that policy is held through your employer or owned by you separately). You can also designate Legal Council for Health Justice as a beneficiary of your 401(k), IRA, or KEOGH plan, which may offer substantial income and estate tax advantages.
  • Donor-Advised Fund: Designate part or all of the remaining balance of your Donor-Advised Fund to Legal Council for Health Justice.
