Rachel Roberts, Children's Mental Health Advocate

Rachel is an Avodah Corps Member serving as a Children's Mental Health Advocate on our Children & Families team. In 2019, Rachel graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Anthropology & Communication Design and a minor in Psychology. She is passionate about approaching mental health and racial justice from a systemic lens. Her responsibilities at Legal Council include supporting our partnership with Sinai Health System's Under the Rainbow outpatient child and adolescent behavioral health clinic to address systemic barriers to children's holistic health. Rachel's previous work has involved supporting the field teams on progressive political campaigns and managing communications for nonprofits focused on racial and environmental justice. As an undergraduate, she was a campus leader in mental health advocacy.
