Myron Grant, Legal Advisor
Born and raised in Georgia, Myron received his B.A. in Political Science from Georgia State University. Following his time at Georgia State, Myron earned his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law where he was awarded the Joseph R. Bartylak Public Interest Fellowship and the Mitch McGough Leadership Award for Outstanding Advocacy. While at SIU Law, he worked as a 711 Law Clerk in his university’s Students’ Legal Assistance Office and served as a summer 711 Law Clerk in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. With a passion for litigation, Myron served as captain of the Mock Trial Competition Team. His team took first place at the 2017 Midwest Regional BLSA Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition, and Myron also received an individual award as the Best Advocate in the competition. Myron joined the Legal Council team in August 2017.
