Lena Stein, Children’s Health Advocate
Lena Stein serves to support the medical-legal partnerships with the Legal Council's Children & Families program. A 2021 graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, she studied English Literature and Latin American Studies and is passionate about mental health, health justice, and migrant justice. She has worked with the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota in St. Paul, Compass Housing Alliance in Seattle, WA, and as part of Carleton College's Community, Equity, and Diversity Initiative and Anti-Racism Training Action Team. Originally from North Carolina, Lena is excited to get to know Chicago communities through her role as an Avodah Jewish Service Corps member working with Legal Council.
