Jonnsebastian Orozco - Senior Law Student


Jonnsebastian joined Legal Council’s children and families partnerships program in March 2019 to lead our partnership with Sinai Health System’s Under the Rainbow outpatient child and adolescent behavioral health clinic – the first children’s behavioral health-legal partnership in Illinois. Originally from Miami, FL, Jonnsebastian earned his B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from Florida International University with a minor in criminal justice. During his time as an undergraduate, he studied abroad in Brazil for a human rights project with AISEC, an internationally-acclaimed non-governmental organization. Previously he worked at a Social Security Disability law firm in Miami as a paralegal. He is currently a student at John Marshall Law School, where he has worked as a research assistant for the directors of the International Human Rights Clinic and the Business Enterprise Law Clinic, and is expected to graduate in May 2019. He is a native Spanish speaker.
