A San Diego native, Jena, assists Legal Council as a Children’s Mental Health Advocate through our medical-legal partnership with Under the Rainbow. Jena earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Denver, with minors in both English and Communication. Prior to joining Legal Council, she interned at a family and child psychology practice specializing in autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, executive functioning difficulties, intellectual and developmental disorders, and anxiety, mood, and behavioral disorders. Her life-long passion for social justice as well as her love for working with children and their families led her to join Avodah and Legal Council.
